 Advantech's
"Total Solutions" presented an exciting interactive station at
the Wonderware Showcase 2001 in Las Vegas Nevada. The dynamic
demonstration area introduced attendees to the industry's hottest
manufacturing PCs while fixing them mixed drinks and giving them
the chance to play a virtual golf game.
Advantech's
"Total Solutions" demonstrated the total compatibility of the
company's hardware in running both Wonderware's manufacturing
software and ACP's thin client software. Advantech's products
were displayed throughout the convention center and interested
observers learned the latest news about the company's recent products.
Drink
while you think
The event's most visited product, the PPC-120, was used as the HMI in a system engineered to mix drinks for the guests. ACP utilized the center to display all areas of Advantech products, including the popular 18" flat panel monitor, FPM-3180; 6.4" VGA touch panel computer, TPC-650; and the 5.25" Microbox biscuit PC running ACP's MBPC-200-5820 client software.
Driving for excellence
The
Wonderware Showcase also featured Carnival Night on Tuesday June
26th. Advantech enticed participants by holding a longest drive
contest using a virtual reality golf game running on the PPC-153.
About 50 percent of the companies on display had active games
that added another level of participation to the Wonderware Showcase.
